At Hobart City Mission’s Emergency Relief program, people doing it tough can find more than just food and clothing, they find kindness, dignity, and someone who truly cares.

 

Pam volunteers three days a week, helping clients access supplies and support. “No two days are the same,” she says.

 

Clients can collect food, clothing, toiletries, and even bedding, or sit down with a support worker to work through their financial stress. Pam ensures the space is welcoming and practical, she’s even created a clothing area where people can choose what they need with dignity.
